We’re excited to welcome a very special guest, Dennis “ROC.AM” Jones, who will showcase a historic Roy Ayers jazz project inside Nu•Studio featuring previously unreleased music he has re-produced and reimagined.

DENNIS “ROC.AM” JONES is a Brooklyn NY native and Grammy Nominated engineer, producer, and artist with a deep passion for sound and creativity. ROC is most known for his work in immersive audio and legacy catalog mixing, with credits spanning legendary artists like James Brown and Frank Sinatra, global icons such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and rising stars including Ice Spice and H.E.R.

Roc’s expertise also extends into TV and film, where he has contributed to soundtracks for productions like *Pitch Perfect* and the original immersive soundtrack for *Wicked*. Known for his attention to detail and ability to bring out the best in every project, Roc excels at cultivating comfortable and innovative environments that inspire creativity.

Alongside his passion for software-based technology, Dennis “ROC.am” Jones has also worked for major companies like Apple in his early years of music and tech. This experience expanded to include R&D consulting roles for audio/tech companies such as SONOS, SALXCO, and Lipinski Sound, where he focused on developing innovations that bridge the gap between professional audio and lifestyle products, emphasizing design, functionality, and sonic excellence.

Driven by a strong passion for music and technology, ROC has always prioritized giving back to artists through music production, in-studio sessions, and engineering. This commitment led him to establish his 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, “The Never Give Up Organization“.

Through this initiative, ROC plans to redesign the music industry as a silent artist development company, helping artists and creatives achieve their goals through services such as mixing, mastering, writing, distribution, and production.

ROC continues to explore making music for himself as an artist and for others and is on the journey of becoming a reliable asset in today’s music and tech industry.
