EMERYVILLE, CALIF., Mar. 27, 2019 – Advanced Systems Group (ASG) was integral in the creation of Electronic Arts’ recently-opened EA Broadcast Studio in Redwood City, CA. Previously, EA relied on third-party venues to host their esports operation, but the new state-of-the-art in-house production studio was built in just three months and was ready for their recent Madden NFL 19 Challenge in mid March.

Per an article in SVG News, ASG was brought into the project to assist EA in the creation of two main studios as well as a 1080p broadcast-control room, AR seamless green screen, and post production facilities. The entire facility was completed in just three months; construction began on Dec. 10 and the facility went live on March 10.

Joseph Lynch, head of broadcast, EA Sports says, “We were able to get this done on a really short timeline, which is a testament to how passionate our crews, contractors, production-management team, vendors, and integrator are. We worked with ASG because we knew they were a smaller sort of boutique shop and we really liked that personal relationship. We knew that we had somebody that we could grow and build a relationship with over time. They worked hard to deliver in a short time and put together a beautiful facility.”
